Privacy Policy

Wolfe's 3D Prints ("we", "the site") is a small website for requesting custom 3D prints and sharing model files among invited members. This policy explains what information the site collects, why, and what happens to it. We keep this simple on purpose: the site collects only what it needs to work.
What we collect
Print requests. When you send a request, we store your name, email address, and the details you provide (what you'd like printed, material, color, quantity), plus any model file or photo you choose to attach.
Member accounts. Registration is invite-only. We store your name, email address, and your password in securely hashed form - the site never stores or sees your actual password.
Files you upload. Model files (STL, 3MF, ZIP) uploaded to the members' library are stored on the site along with the preview pictures generated from them and the title and description you give them.
Automatically. The site sets one essential session cookie when you log in, so it can remember you between pages. Like most websites, the hosting server also keeps standard access logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and troubleshooting.
How we use it
Your information is used only to run the site: to receive and respond to print requests (including an email notification to the site operator, with replies going to the email address you provided), to let members sign in, and to store, display, and download library files among members.
What we never do
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. The site has no advertising, no analytics, and no third-party trackers.
Cookies
The only cookie the site sets is the essential login session cookie. It contains no tracking information and disappears when it expires or you log out. Because the site uses no tracking or marketing cookies, there is no cookie banner.
Who can see what
Print requests are visible only to the site operator. Library files and their previews are visible only to signed-in members. Data is stored on our web hosting provider's servers, library model files may also be stored in the site operator's Google Drive, and email is handled by our mailbox provider, in each case only to provide the service. One exception: if you use the "Need inspiration?" idea search on the request page, your search words are sent directly from your browser to Thangs.com to fetch results, and Thangs' own privacy policy applies to that search.
How long we keep it
Requests, accounts, and uploaded files are kept until they are deleted by the site operator or you ask us to remove them. To have your information or files deleted, email admin@wolfes3dprints.com and we will take care of it.
Security
Passwords are hashed, the site is served over HTTPS, and downloads are limited to signed-in members. No internet service can promise perfect security, but access is restricted to what the site needs to function.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top.
